Wrenshelf has no ads or analytics, and doesn't sell or share personal data.

Your collection

You can search for cards and check prices in Wrenshelf without an account. Saving cards to a collection needs one. Cards saved before accounts were required stay on your device until you sign in: in the app's storage on iPhone, and in your browser's local storage on the web.

With an account, the cards in your collection, their quantities, the sets you track as set binders with their page layouts, and when these changed are stored on our servers, hosted on Cloudflare, so they can sync across your devices. This data is used only to provide sync. Prices and camera images aren't part of it.

Folders you share

Folders stay on your device unless you share one. Sharing a folder stores a copy of its name, page layout, cards and number of copies on our servers, and anyone with the link can see them without signing in. The link doesn't show your name, your email address or the rest of your collection. The copy is deleted when you stop sharing, delete the folder from the device that shared it, or delete your account.

Your account

Accounts are run by Clerk (clerk.com), which stores your email address and sign-in details, along with your name and profile photo if Google or Apple provides them. To keep accounts secure, Clerk can also record your approximate location, based on your IP address, and diagnostic details such as your device and browser. The website loads Clerk's code on every page and uses its cookies to keep you signed in.

To delete your account and its data, go to Account on the website, or Account > Manage Account > Security on iPhone. Cards also saved on a device stay there until you remove them.

Camera

The iPhone app uses the camera only while you scan a card. Text is read on your device to identify the card. Camera images aren't saved or sent anywhere.

Services we rely on

Card data, images and prices come from TCGdex (tcgdex.net), so those requests, including your IP address and the card being viewed, reach its servers. Accounts are run by Clerk. The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests to serve the site and may keep operational logs. Each service handles that data under its own privacy policy.
